As someone too young to attend an R-rated movie, you may feel discriminated against. Do not worry, because sometimes a movie is so good, that you just may have to try your luck sneaking into the theater. First, how about The Book of Eli? It’s rated R for violence and language. In it, Denzel Washington travels across America and kicking butt. Sounds like one heck of a good time! If that film still has too much of a plot, then try Ninja Assassin.
It is rated R for violence throughout. If, for some odd reason, you do not want something that violent, then maybe what you need is a good laugh courtesy of Michael Cera. Youth In Revolt is sure to deliver. What better movie to sneak into than one named “Youth In Revolt?”
Now what you need to know is how to sneak into a movie. Make yourself look as mature as possible and then buy a ticket for a lower-rated movie. Once inside, play it cool for a few minutes. Then, when nobody is looking, sneak into the R-rated film. Remember to not draw any attention to yourself during the movie, and you should be good.
Now, for those out there who would rather play it safe and stay home, here are a couple suggestions on R-rated movies worth seeing on DVD. If you are looking for a twisted mystery movie, then you can’t go wrong with Memento. It is about a man who has short-term memory loss but is trying to hunt down the person who murdered his wife. Another all-time great movie that you need to see on DVD is V for Vendetta. This movie is the ultimate in combining rebellion and “stylized violence.” Go out and watch one of these awesome movies!
